Washington Township High School Stadium Sound System

System Requirements

The new stadium sound system had to incorporate the existing Community R1 loudspeakers, add additional cabinets for better coverage in the bleachers, simplify control and provide reliable components.


System Design

We installed new drivers in the existing Community R1 loudspeakers, re-mounted and aimed them for better coverage and added three additional cabinets to provide better coverage on the bleachers.  A new rack provides a secure location for the new equipment and a single power button with simple Symetrix wall controls provides a simple way to power the system on and off and control the levels.

System Requirements

The new sound system had to provide high-quality speech and music reinforcement in an acoustically challenging space.


System Design

Working EASE, an acoustical modeling program, we custom designed a loudspeaker system with Community ENTASYS columns.  The system features two main columns and two delay columns which provide even coverage throughout the space.  The narrow vertical pattern of the columns help to keep sound off the floor and ceiling resulting in higher intelligibility

Result

The new system has significantly improved the coverage, quality, and intelligibility while being user-friendly for multiple operators.
