St. Helena Church – Blue Bell

Covenant Presbyterian Church

Located in Trenton, NJ, Convent Presbyterian Church features a larger sanctuary with high ceiling, large windows and a deep balcony in the back. The walls are hard plaster with tile floor and wooden pews, making the acoustics very challenging to work with. For many years, the congregation struggled with the current system which was comprised of ceiling loudspeakers which were over 30’ above. Since the system only needed to reproduce speech, the Bose MA12 column line arrays were chosen. Two columns per side provide coverage all the way to be back of the ground level, with Bose 502 delay loudspeakers providing coverage for the balcony. Crown amplifiers and Shure wireless microphone complete the system.

QSC KLA12

Life Christian Fellowship Sound System

System Requirements

The new sound system had to provide high-level speech and music reinforcement.  The Church was familiar with QSC’s KLA line arrays boxes and wanted to see how it would perform in the room.


System Design

We used EASE focus to determine that three boxes would provide even coverage from front to back.

St. Bridget’s Church

System Requirements

The new sound system had to provide high-quality speech and music reinforcement in an acoustically challenging space.


System Design

Working EASE, an acoustical modeling program, we custom designed a loudspeaker system with Community ENTASYS columns.  The system features two main columns and two delay columns which provide even coverage throughout the space.  The narrow vertical pattern of the columns help to keep sound off the floor and ceiling resulting in higher intelligibility

  • Furman remote and rack-mounted sequencers
