System Requirements

The Widener University Baseball Stadium did not have a permanent sound system installed, and would have to set up a powered loudspeaker in the window.  This became a hassle and didn’t provide adequate coverage.  The new system had to cover three sections of bleachers and the field, with the ability to handle both speech and music.

System Design

Featured Equipment:

    • Three Community R.35-3896 loudspeakers for the stands.
    • One Community R.5MAX for the field.
    • Crown XTI-4002 amplifiers.
    • Shure rack-mount mixer.

Result

The new system covers all three sections of the stands evenly as well as onto the field.  Both spectators and athletes experience high-quality sound and the operation of the system is simple for the staff.
